I don't have Q2006 installed, but I think it should work the
same as Q2008.
Edit the file "QUSER.INI" found at:
Documents and SettingsYourWindowsUserNameApplication
DataIntuitQuickenConfig
In the section, "[Recent Files]", clear the file names appearing
to the right of the equal sign for those files you do not want
to see in your Quicken File menu Recent Files list.
