I have not been able to download from ING Direct for about a month.
Anyone else having trouble?

I've been havihg weird problems with my ING accounts. I'm getting some
duplicate transactiosn, some are missing entirely from the download and
some match older, different transactiosn

YES! I have been using Quicken 2008 with ING Direct and One Step Update
for over a year, then a couple months ago it stopped working. I spent a
few hours on the phone with ING Direct and they told me they don't support
one-step update and why don't I just log into their website and update
everything this way, claiming it would be way easier than what I was
doing. They said one step update never worked and they had no idea how I
used to be able to do it.

The best anyone was willing to do was to promise to send an email to
another department that would escalate the issue and email me back. Of
course, I never got any response.

I'm considering shutting down every account I have with them. For a bank
that doesn't offer the convenience of having a real bank I could cash
checks at they should make up for it by being technology-savvy. There's
no way I'm going to accept that I should log into the website of every
bank I do business with and specify dates to include in a file I'll have
to then import into Quicken. No way.

For what little banking I so, I simply make manual entries into Quicken. No
mess. No fuss. No problems. No mistakes.
