Hello,

Is it possible to download trade files into Quicken to generate a
Schedule D, and can those items be edited prior to preparing the
schedule, or is Quickbooks necessary to accomplish this task.

Thanks in Advance,
dcdon

Believe I answered part of the question. The basic edition does not
do a Schedule, but the Premier and "Home and Business" box labels say
that Schedule D can be completed.

thanks,
dcdon

I believe every version of Quicken can produce a "Tax Schedule"
report which includes Schedule D. Premier and H&B can produce a
stand alone Schedule D report.

Thank you very much John

Note: I looked your email address and immediately knew I was in
trouble. Changed mine immediately and pray that the creepy crawlers
don't pick it up.

dcdon

I should have added that the Deluxe version (and probably the
Basic version) also have a stand alone "Capital Gains" report.
