Thanks for the reply - sorry for the delay, I've been away for a few days.
Somehow the printing problem no-longer exists!! I had been trying some of
the ideas suggested (such as changing printer drivers, installing "dummy"
printers etc, and getting nowhere - but I can't remember if I rebooted or
not at any stage in making those changes - it may be that was all that was
needed. Who knows - it works now.
