In researching my other problem with Investment performance returns,
I noticed that on the Quicken 2004 Investment Performance Report
that entries are only listed for DIV and BOT/SOLD,
but the entries for Re-invest Income
are NOT listed as part of the performance report.
They are shown on the "activity report",
but don't show up on the "performance report"....
So - for a couple of mutual funds,
the Performance Report only shows..... begin mkt value and the ending mkt value
with none of the re-invested amounts.
WHY ?

I have noticed the same problem with Q7 Premier. I reported it to =
support and have been told someone is looking into the matter. I said =
they need a better accountant looking over their software. Reinvested =
income is, or at least could be (IRA) taxable and should be on the all =

The Investment Performance report is not about "income"; it's
about ... "performance". It's about the "Average Annual Return"
("Internal Rate of Return"), and unless you can demonstrate that
the report is incorrect - using the definition of "Average
Annual Return" - your complaint is misguided.
[I believe the effect of reinvestments on Average Annual
Return is taken into account by their effect on the ending value
of the investment. The ending value of the investment is the
number of shares you own - which includes the shares you
purchased with your reinvestments - multiplied by the
price/share.]
