Hi

I try to add a US stock in my Canadian brockage account
in Quicken 2006, but Quickend do not let me do it ...

I have the error message that my stock is from a different
        currency ???

Please give some idea as how I can do it, I would also like
to convert the purchase with a different exchange rate
        for every transaction.

If it is impossible to do that in Quicken, please suggest
        me an other program

A big thanks in advance for your support !!!

Regards

Bacchus

In Quicken, multi-currency is supported at the account level. All securities
must be in the same currency. This makes sense because that's what most brokers
do.

There are several workarounds, but the most common are:

1. Accept Quicken's way. Your broker will report the price of the security in
C$, so use it.
2. If you want to see the price in US$ (and be able to download the price),
create a new account in US$ in Quicken.
