Is quicken 2008 worth the upgrade? Per Ting 09-13-2007

I have upgraded to quicken 2008 and I am absolutely disappointed. I have
not seen a single feature that was worth the upgrade. This was the most
pointless quicken upgrade in recent years. I was wondering if this
sentiment is shared by others?

Why do you care what others think? If you don't like Q2008, you
can return it and get your money back.

Perhaps he just wants to create a dialog about his experience and others'
experience with Q08. Maybe others could shed light on a feature that he was
not aware of. I know you provide some of the most meaningful feedback to
users here, perhaps this post caught you at a bad time. I don't think his
post was unreasonable, so I'm surprised that so many have jumped all over
this guy for asking what appears to be a fair question for general
discussion, notwithstanding any other discussions on the topic of Q08. The
purpose of newsgroups is to exchange information when people come to the
community for help or discussion, the antithesis is to snarl back and
disregard their question or concern. Very disappointing reaction from some
of the posters here.

It's all been typed since the program's release, the major tech sites have
released their reviews of the product. The OP doesn't appear to have read
anything related to Quicken 2008 prior to posting, here or elsewhere. Is
there really anything new to talk about regarding this?

So perhaps others can use this opportunity to exhibit a little patience and
simply point the OP to other sources of information, rather than give such
sniping, curt, and unhelpful responses. It's a sign of personal character
and has little to do with whether the OP sent a redundant post.
