For those who may not have seen this, I offer the following link
as additional info regarding the origin of the MS mouse scroll
wheel problem. Some of the info at the following url is a bit
technical, but I think there is sufficient non-technical
language to get the basic point across.

Last time I sent a tinyurl, it didn't work, so here is the full
url.

John,

Do you know if this problem still exists with the new Q2008?

Sorry, but I don't.

And since I don't have Vista, I'll not be able to verify it even
when Q2008 is released. But I bet those MS mouse users with
Vista will let the world know when they get Q2008.

[It's conceivable that, if the problem is fixed in Q2008, Intuit
will publish it in the list of improvements they have been
putting out for recent versions. I don't see that list at
Intuit's web site for Q2008 today; hopefully it will be
available soon.]

What is the problem? I'm using Quicken 2007 with an MS mouse under
Vista Ultimate and I have no wheel scrolling problem.

I have neither the software or the hardware, but I think the
problem is with the Intellipoint 6.0 driver.
