I have to match some transactions manually and the manually match list
contains some transactions that have been reconciled.

Does anyone know where it gets the list of transactions to match from?
Mine has transactions going back six to eight months, that should all be
reconciled, how do I remove them from the list?

Thanks in advance.

Danny

The manual match routine justifiably does not care about whether
existing transactions have been reconciled, only whether they
have been downloaded before.

The manual match routing looks at the "Downloaded" attribute and
the "Posting Date" to determine whether the transaction has been
downloaded already. If the Downloaded box is checked and the
Posting date is not blank, Quicken treats the transaction as
having been downloaded.

To view and modify those two fields, select the transaction in
the register, right-click, hold down CTRL and left-click on
"Copy Transaction"; make the necessary changes in the "View
Posting Date" dialog.

Thank you I will try this some of the transaction are voided
transactions that never get downloaded. Some are like EFT like Walmart
here they give you the check right back and the downloaded transaction
never has the check number or enough info in it to find a match. I will
give this a try, can not nest it though till the next time I download
and do not find a match.

Thank you,

Danny
