Using Q2006 Premier. I like having the payees pop up when I start to
enter a transaction, but how do I tell Q not to use the memorized
transaction? Otherwise, I often end up having to delete a bunch of
split transactions, etc.

I use Q2007. After I type the payee name, if I then mouse click on the
amount field, rather than pressing TAB key, the memorized amount,
categories and splits are not used.

If you want Quicken to fill in payee names, but not from
Memorized Payees, you can put the names in your Address Book and
tell Quicken to include those names in QuickFill.
