Just looked at this in QW07 Dlx

Open an account; e.g. a cash flow account or an investment account.

Then go to File > Import and you will see the option for a QIF File.

You do not see the QIF option if your in 'Investing Center', 'Cash Flow
Center', etc.

Correction - you do see the option for QIF File in the Cash Flow Center
- just not in the Investment Center.

Thanks now I see the QIF import. Will now start experimenting to see
if I can accomplish my merging goal.

Are these two accounts within the same Quicken file? If so, I believe
there is a transaction "Shares Transferred Between Accounts" that you
can use.
