I have Quicken 2005 Release R 6 and am wondering how i can more or copy a
transaction from one investment account to another since the registers for
investments are gone.

Any help would be appreciated.

The basic process is cut/paste.

Open "Transactions" tab of the FROM account.
Place your cursor on the transaction to move.
Right-click. Left-click, "Cut transaction".
Open the "Transactions" tab of the TO account.
Place your cursor anywhere in the list.
Right-click. Left-click, "Paste Transaction".
Modify if needed.
Click "Done".

That should have read: "The basic move process is cut/paste; the
copy process is copy/paste".

And the example is just for the "move"; adjust accordingly to
"copy".

> Open "Transactions" tab of the FROM account.
> Place your cursor on the transaction to move.
> Right-click. Left-click, "Cut transaction".
> Open the "Transactions" tab of the TO account.
> Place your cursor anywhere in the list.
> Right-click. Left-click, "Paste Transaction".
> Modify if needed.
> Click "Done".

You can also get the cut/copy/paste options from the Quicken
menu.

Edit > Transaction

Necessary if in a non-investment account and you want to
cut/copy/paste multiple transactions at once.
