Simple question... I believe.

Does it make a difference if I enter a mutual fund dividend as:

1) One transaction RD

2) Two transactons DIV followed with a BUY Tansaction

Is there an effect on ROI/Tax reporting/Capital Gains when sold?

I have seen conflicting answers on this group on somewhat related
transactions, but nothing on point.

Thanks,
David
