I used the online feature of Quicken 2004 to update prices in my investment
portfolio today. For the first time in years, I noticed that Quicken started to
download
a program update, so I cancelled the download. I went to the appropriate Intuit
web site that documents program updates for Q-2004, and Intuit says that they
haven't had a program update since February 2004.

Does anyone know anything about this program update? I'm aware that they've
announced that downloading price quotes for Q-2004 will end on April 30th, so
that everyone will be motivated to upgrade to Quicken 2007. I'm wondering
if these two events are related.

I am still using Quicken 2001. It works perfectly well, so why upgrade?

If you don't want real-time portfolio updating, that's fine.
