My bank has instituted a new PW policy, Step one, sign in. Step 2,
identify a picture and phrase, Step 3 enter password. I understanhd
these requirements were mandaded by the govt. Anyhow I am back to
downloading by web connect at the banks site. Anyone else going
through this. I am using Q07, B&P.

In a way. I have QD05 and, back in June, my bank changed their
financial software on the network. This resulted in Quicken downloads
no longer being possible(according to the bank) but, I can still do it.

have not seen it related to Quicken downloads,
but one of my mutual fund companies - don't recall which one -
Fidelity, T.Rowe, Vanguard
has instituted a "picture" that you pick,
so that you will recognize it as a "valid website"
to thwart phishing...

FWIW, Vanguard has two step loggin with a picture and still supports
direct download. And the Chase website indicates it will "recognize"
your computer and apply extra security only if you try to access from
another computer. I have no idea what that means - particularly if
you have a laptop.

The bank sites I use have a 'remember me on this computer' option.
