Hi all:

It just recently dawned on me that I'm not getting alerts for earning
announcements, dividend declarations and so forth when I do a One
Step
Update, though I used to receive these all the time with older
versions of Quicken. The Alerts Center in Q2007D doesn't seem to
support these kinds of alerts. Am I missing something?

TIA.

I just got Q2007 (and I don't use investment alerts), so I may
not be of much help: The only difference between the Q2007
Alerts Center and the Q2005 Alerts Center that I see is that the
Q2007 Alerts Center offers more alerts ... all the ones from
Q2005 are present, plus a few more.

Earnings and dividend announcement alerts are setup at
Quicken.com, then, I presume, downloaded when you do a One Step
Update. If you have not setup the alerts at Quicken.com, or if
your current Quicken data fileset is not linked to the same
Quicken.com account where you setup the alerts ... you shouldn't
see any alerts in Quicken.

The Q2007 Alerts Center shows exactly 3 "Investing" alerts are
available: Price and Volume and Reminders for Quotes and Maturity
Dates.

Hmmm... don't remember ever doing anything over at Quicken.com - I
tend to avoid putting my financial info out on the net - but I'll
wander over there and see if I can figure it out. Thanks!

I'm sorry, my previous post was unintentionally misleading.

I don't think it will matter to your situation, but what you see
in Q2007 Deluxe for investment alerts is what I see in Q2005
Deluxe. My previous post neglected to mention that I have Q2007
Premier. When I compare Q2007 Premier to Q2006 Premier, I see
they both have the same set of investment alerts ... several
more than the Deluxe version. And your Q2007 Deluxe has the
same set of investment alerts as my Q2005 Deluxe has.

So I think there has probably not been any change to the Quicken
investment alerts from Q2005 thru Q2007.
