On line payments and scheduled transactions

just installing Q2007

am i correct in my assumption that the ONLY way to make an online
payment is thru the on line payment screen and not thru the Scheduled
transaction screen?? No movement of funds can be generated by
scheduling.

the scheduled transaction screen just allows advance warning to
impending tansactions someplace in quicken, normally the register.

right?

Not quite.

If you enter a scheduled online payment into your register, it
will be marked as "Send". The next time you do a One Step
Update, that payment instruction will be sent to your billpayor.
