Use the TAB key instead of hitting ENTER. The TAB takes you from field to
field (of a given transaction). ENTER is normally used to accept the
transaction into the register. That being said, you can override the
default behaviour of ENTER to function like TAB (through Quicken
preferences). That's probably what you had set in Q2004.
I'd recommend retraining yourself to use the TAB key - it's better, in my
opinion. After you've chosen one of the quick fill entries, press TAB to go
through the remaining fields of the transaction (filled by the quick fill
feature), override whatever (amount, memo, etc.) and then complete by
pressing ENTER. In this mode, you don't have to cycle through ALL the
fields to get the transaction accepted into the register.
