Pin Vault Problems - Q05 AlanW 10-15-2006

I am using Q 2005. I am unable to download transactions by using the
pin vault because it runs; hangs up; and I must then ctrl>alt>del to
end the entire program. Every attempt to edit or print the pin vault
fails because the program runs and must be ended via ctrl>alt> del.

I deleted the pin vault and attempted to recreate it. Again, the setup
screen appears but when I start to enter data, it hangs up and must be
ended. All other aspects of Quicken work fine - just the pin vault
problem.

Any help to resolve this will be appreciated.

Have you tried downloading without using the pin vault?

Does the 'hangup' happen with a specific account?

Downloading without using the pin vault works fine. I can't seem to
open and use the pin vault whether it is to set up or edit or to use
it to facilitate downloads.

Try making a Quicken Copy of your data, open the Copy, delete
the Pin Vault, deactivate all accounts for transaction download,
Validate the copy, Activate your accounts, recreate/update the
Pin Vault.
