Last week I bought a mutual fund for my 401k. I entered the transaction as
usual and the correct account value and cash balance show in the transaction
page. My problem is when I go to portfolio view, the mutual fund does not
show and the value of the just purchased fund is missing from the account
value. The cash balance is correct.

I have bought and sold this fund before when running earlier versions of
Quicken and never had this problem before. The fund still shows in my
securities list.

I'm currently running Q06 deluxe on Windows XP home edition.

Any ideas?

Assuming the security is not "hidden", that you purchased the
correct security, that you entered the transaction in the
correct account, and that the security is checked in the
"Securities to include" list in the Customize dialog ...

Make sure the Portfolio tab "As of" date is on or after the
transaction date of the purchase.
