Since Intuit is so poor at responding to complaints you have no choice
but to find a workaround.
To print to PDF use the PDF Printer supplied With Quicken 2008.
To print to a Brother printer use the HP Laser Jet Series II driver.
You wont ave all of the options of the Brother Printer.
Try the HP Driver for the Lexmark Printer as well. Many printers
support PCL.
