In Quicken 08 Premier, I am having a problem with the Portfolio Value
by Asset Class Graph and Report that is available on the homepage.

I customized the graph to subtotal by account and note that it is
showing a negative balance for a stock which I no longer own.
However, the account transaction page shows no negative balance and
the account summary correctly shows that the stock is no longer owned
and shows a positive balance in the account.

I tried deleting and re-entering the stock purchases and sales and
the
problem remains. It appears that the amount showing up negative is
the same amount as a realized gain from one of the sales.

I also tried validating and super validating the file to see if this
would fix the problem. Is this a known issue? Is there any
workaround or fix?

Thanks.

Jeff

If it helps anyone else in the future, I solved the problem. Somehow,
the lot specifications must have been wrong. I fixed the problem by
deleting all trades in that particular stock and manually reentered
them and it solved the problem. I believe the problem stemmed from
some mismatch of lot specifications.
