I'm running Q2006 Premier Rel QA 5 on Windowx XP SP2

I've been with Quicken so long, I'm afraid to convert, but I started
when I only needed a computerized check register. These days, I need
software that handles investments and securites as least as much as I
need something to balance my checkbook, and therein lies the problem.

I've got about 6 investment accounts, and the PITA I'm experiencing
occurs when I hold the same security in more than one account. When
that happens, and I select such an account and double click the
security also held elsewhere, it pulls up a Security Detail View
subwindow, but the graph shown is for ALL shares and transaction of
the security, regardless of what account it's in. This problem has
been around for quite a while, it was in the prevous Quicken version I
had too.

There may be times where an investor would WANT to see such a "global"
graph, but I've never come across one yet. When I'm looking at a
specific account and I double click on a security, I'd MUCH rather see
a Security Detail Graph that only includes data specific to the
account I'm currently in.

Why doesn't Quicken show the global graph only when someone clicks on
the Investing Center, which lists ALL securities? At least that would
make some sense... Never mind, I just answered my own question...

And while I'm here...

Any software out there beside MS Money that can do investments better
than Quicken, but still handle mundane stuff like checking accounts?
