I'd be able to tell ya if I paid attention during the beta but honestly
it was the worse beta I've ever participated in so I can't say.

BTW, why is your news reader so horrible WRT quoting...?

You know Andrew, I noticed that too. I use OUTLOOK EXPRESS (please, =

grant you it's not the best)- there's an add on called "OE-QuoteFix" =

that's why. In THIS post, I am using the default that it came up with.

I "think" it might be getting confused with your format to be honest. =
Are you posting in HTML? The newsreader 'warned' me of that when I had =
hit SEND last time. =20

So without editing, is this better?

Sorry "holy wares" are part of the territory! I use Thunderbird. It's
not only cheap - *it's free!* And it works better.

I guess that's my point. OE needs a quote fixer because it breaks it.

I post in HTML and plain text (if any html elements are discovered). As
for warnings of HTML, how many email/news readers have trouble with HTML
anymore? In any event now *that's* a religious war that I've been in
many times and quite frankly I refuse to participate in that non-sense
anymore. Anybody wish to bitch at me about using HTML - you'll end up
arguing with yourself.
> So without editing, is this better?
Actually, only slightly. ;-)

I'm just amazed that Outlook and OE offer no good way to handle quoting.

I'm slightly amazed that you don't add a blank line between quoted text and
your additions. On a plain text reader it makes it harder to separate one
from the other.
