A boughtX entry (several months back) in my investment account
displayed with incorrect numbers (huge). I deleted and reentered the
transaction and it displayed correctly. Howerver the matching transfer
entry in my cash account now showed as unreconciled. When I manually
replaced the reconciled "R" setting, the investment entry returned to
its former error state.
Is there a fix or will I have to avoid the single transaction transfer
and instead manually record a deposit of cash and then a subsequent
simple stock purchase?
Your time & advice greatly appreciated.
Duncan

I think there is a bug, but I think you can overcome it by not
deleting the original investment account transaction, but
modifying it (leaving the checking account transaction still
reconciled). I had to play with this a bit to get it to work,
and I can't remember exactly what caused it to work, but
eventually I had things looking normal.
