I just had to file a 3rd Quarter 1040ES for both federal and state because I
sold some property that I had a large capital gains. I created two new
subcategories, Tax:ES State and Tax:ES Federal. What "tax line item
assignment" should I assign to these subcategories so they apply correctly?
The assignment list doesn't clearly address estimated tax payments. At
least to me a lay person.
Thanks, Steve

In the category menu edit each estimated category & assign a "Tax Line Item"
for state it will be under Schedule A, for Fed it will be under Form 1040.
Both have "estimated tax qtrly."
