Is this a credit card account?

You can Deactivate the account for "transaction download"; then
Activate it again (only "Activate" if it is a One Step Download
type account). (This might get you some transactions that were
already downloaded. It may be a good idea to backup before
this, and restore if you don't like the results.)

Following a download from FI B, open the OFXlog (probably in
Word where you can do some minor reformatting to make it easier
to read), and look for your transactions.
Help > Product and Customer Support > OFXlog
Then "Save as" if you want to view it in a word processor (and
keep from eventually getting overwritten by subsequent
downloads).
If you need help deciphering, you can download the OFX specs to
a pdf file for free (or possibly ask here); Google for the OFX
home page.
