....getting rid of the annioying welcoming screen asking me to register.
Is there an easy way to eliminate this?
TIA for any suggestions.

Well that's easier said than done.
Tried it & I keep getting errors & the program won't register.
Called Intuit & was told it would cost me $24+ for telephoine support.
Went online chat & after submitting my question was told it would cost $9+
for chat support.

I'll be damed if I'm going to pay them for a program that I already paid
for!

Well then, tell us what the errors were. You'll get a lot more help if you don't
treat us like mushrooms.

Have you tried reinstalling Quicken, then trying to register?
