Thanks for your suggestions. I took your advice and opened the QFX
file, and I think I figured it out. If I delete a previously
downloaded transaction from my register, and then import a QFX file,
Quicken will not import the missing transaction.
How frustrating. Even though it should be rare (I don't often delete
transactions), it's still a little unnerving. I guess it just goes to
show how important it is to still reconcile to a paper statement.
