Is there any way to make the Checks icon in the toolbar point to just
one checking account?

Many versions back in Quicken, it was possible to specify the account
for the write Checks icon in the toolbar.

As I updated every few years, my Checks icon stuck with my old
specified account. Unfortunately I just changed checking accounts and
that seems to have unstuck it.

Now the drop-down in the Write Checks window defaults to the currently
viewed account. (It would be better if it defaulted to the last
account used to write checks.)

I'd sure like to stick it back, as I only print Quicken checks from
one checking account.

Walt,

This may or may not work, but I think if you go to 'customize' on the
bottom left corner when Quicken comes up and click "Hide" for the
checking accounts not in use today, it will default to your active
checking account.

Good luck
