Followup: I did just that. Gave my acct admin privs, put the CD in and did
an uninstall. Put the CD in again and did an install and let Quicken
update itself. Then set my acct back to being limited and it *all*works*!
In fact, the old problem I had [with the 'preparing to install' when I
double-click a QDF file seems to be gone, also. So the overall install
looks perfect now. YAY! Thanks!!!
