I have refused to update from Quicken 2004 for Mac since, as late as
Q2006 for the Mac, the only choice for recording Dividends was simply
that, Dividends. There are Dividends and Qualified Dividends and they
are treated differently taxwise.
I've repeatedly sent emails to Quicken to add this category - for at
least three years. As soon as they add that category I'll gladly pay
the update price. Does anyone know if Quicken/Intuit has finally added
Qualified Dividends in the 2007 version?
