Scheduled updates are not working after I upgraded to QW 2007 from
QW2006. You can do the updates from within Quicken and they work fine.
I have tried deleting and recreating the PIN vault; no joy.

Anybody else have this issue?

I have read of several people having and solving this problem,
but the solutions are not all exactly the same. All do seem to
have one thing in common; a Quicken file password is involved.

Removing the password seems to allow the scheduled update to
work as designed. "Solutions" seem to include various
combinations of removing the password, Deactivating all accounts
for transaction download, deleting/recreating the pin vault,
reActivating accounts for download ... then recreating the file
password.

I don't have Q2007 so I can't test this.

Thanks, John. I'll try removing the file password and see if that does
it for the next scheduled update.

When I upgraded from QW2005 to QW2006 I had the same issue, but back
then, deleting and recreating the PIN vault worked. Tried that again,
and it doesn't do the trick for QW2007.

The PIN vault password and the file password are not the same.

Update - removing the file password worked. The scheduled update ran
without errors this morning. Thanks for the tip, John.
