Generally Quicken does not use the default system printer. In Quicken go to
File Menu>Printer Setup>. Then set printer for "Reports, Checks, etc". Of
course the printer you want to use must be installed on system. A few years
ago there were many printers that did not have Vista drivers. Go to the
manufacturers web site to get the latest drivers for your printer.
