I've seen a number of posts that indicate Quicken 2008 & 09 run fine
under 64bit Vista SP1.

How aboout Quicken 2006? Anyone tried?

If I have to upgrade I will, but every time I upgrade I have to learn
a substantially new interface.

Hi, Me.

As reported here many times, all during the Vista beta period, I installed
and ran every then-current version of Quicken Deluxe on every successive
beta build and the final RTM version of Vista, both the 32-bit and the
64-bit versions, and now on the 64-bit Vista SP1 and the current SP2 beta -
and the still pre-beta Windows 7. Those were the 2005 through 2009 versions
of Quicken. Except for some minor quibbles, now long-resolved and
forgotten, all versions of Quicken ran on all versions of Vista.

I can't specifically say that Q2006 runs on Vista SP1, but I would be
SHOCKED if it doesn't! (I had already retired 2006 and was running 2007 or
2008 when SP1 became available.)

Please try it. If you have any problems, please let us know.
