Good and bad news to report - The problem no longer happens is the good, I
have no idea what if anything I did that cleared the problem. My best guess
is that the account finally got another transaction, resulting in something
to download in the One-Step update and that cleared/reset/whatever so that
it works again now.
I notice a new posting on this news group of another person reporting Q2008
just shutting down. That may or may not be related, but unfortunately, I
have no particular guidance.
In this case, I guess patience has proven to be a virtue after all.
