Quicken 2006 does not start. It just stays on the starting place.
MS says this:


Error caused by Quicken

Problem description

This error was caused by Quicken. This software was created by Intuit Inc..

Recommendations

Microsoft has contacted Intuit Inc. about this error, but we have not
received a solution. We will continue to communicate with Intuit Inc. about
this error and try to obtain a solution from them.

In the meantime, we recommend that you contact Intuit Inc. directly for
support or product updates to help you resolve this error.

Intuit Inc.

If you are unable to fix this problem and continue to receive errors, you
can also uninstall this program.

Quicken does work (same version, same MSWindowsXP) on the laptop though,
just not on the Desktop.

Any ideas?

Uninstall and re-install to a different directory
