I can't get Quicken to transfer my BillPay online transactions to the
Quicken Register. They download but I can't find how to get them into
the Register. Is this a bug and if so has it been fixed?

I also bank with USAA and my understanding is that BillPay transactions
are not downloaded. Instead, transactions are downloaded from your USAA
checking account. Notice that when you are at the BillPay site you are
not acually connected to the USAA web site. When you close BillPay it
takes you back to USAA.

If you are still having problems I recommend a phone call to USAA
Federal Savings. I've been very impressed with their willingness to help.

You're right. USAA does not upload or download billpay
transactions (as you note: they - obviously - download the
resulting regular account transactions ... which are all that is
necessary).

It is an explicit decision on USAA's part ... they used to do
so, but decided to stop. My guess is that they did so in order
to save money.

No one should consider this a bug.

By the way, I would have answered the original post in this
thread earlier, but I failed to notice the "USAA" in the subject
line". I urge those who initiate posts here to insure they
include all pertinent information in the body of their posts ...
even if they must repeat information they included in the
Subject line.

(I just open each unread post, then read the body of the post to
learn what the problem is ... I generally just scan the Subject
quickly ... and often forget what I read in the Subject once I
am reading the body of the post. Still ... do not skimp on the
Subject: it is important.)
