Is anyone having renaming problems? I check ofxlog, create a renaming
rule, but it will not rename the item, unless I close the program and
restart. Then its renamed as it should be. It doesn't seem to refresh.
Is this how it should work, or is there a way to get it to refresh.??
thanks in advance

I too have had an issue w/07p & renaming. It works fine if the payee is
already entered with the name I want, but if it is a new d/l'd entry it will
not accept the renamed payee. For example, L.A. Times is the renamed
version, d/l is LA TIMES SUB; even though these are in the renaming rules
list & LA TIMES SUB "should" automatically be changed it isn't & if I
manually change, it enters as a separate entry that is not cleared & the d/l
incorrect cleared payment is also entered.

I haven't tried closing & reopening to see if that works. Do you have a
problem with items that are entered matching d/l'd entries or just new
transactions?

My CU overhauled their financial services, so they now transmit more
info in the payee field & less in the memo field. Most of my renaming
rules didn't match what I get now. In Quicken 2006 I would edit the
renaming rule once, the renamed entry would then show up immediately in
the accept transactions into register. But now it doesn't unless I close
& reopen Quicken. Sorry for not really answering your question.
