Are there any deals out there for Quicken Premier?

I am a looong time user of Quicken and upgrade generally every 2 yrs or so
and think Q2008 seems like a worthy upgrade from 2006. I am perfectly happy
supporting developers with new releases. However, I can't justify the $80
price tag, and it seems the past few years Intuit's price has gone up and
up, and fewer store specials on them (unless I'm just not seeing them).

I was also happy to see an update to the Home Inventory program from many
releases back. At that time (2004??), I'm pretty sure it was bundled with
the Deluxe version, but even now, "Premiere" does not include it - it's a
seperate $25 add-on.

So, any deals out there?

Staples will have them in their ad this coming Sunday (9/9).
Deluxe is $39.99, Premier $69.99, H&B $79.99, all after a $20
"easy rebate" (submitted online). If you are a Costco member, it
looks like they are selling Premier for $61.99 (plus $6.95
shipping if you buy it online). H&B is only $64.99. I'd imagine
that other stores will have specials in this weekend's ads,
check on Sunday.

Do you ge the bundle in stores like Staples or Best Buy, or is this
something you download from the web.

It's sad, but I haven't been convinced (first time in probably 15 years) to
get Q2008 - just doesn't seem like there's a single thing compelling in the
release. So I guess I'll wait until the TT Bundle.

(Of course, if I see the box in Staples/BB this weekend, I might break
down....)

Intuit's business model for at least the last 5 years has been to reserve the
best deals for the office supply stores (Staples, etc) and to charge near retail
for downloads or direct purchases.
