 A week or so ago I called the Quicken sales number to ask when the
purchase-via-download would be available, was told 8/25 -- it's now 8/26, no
option for this method of purchase :(

Anyone know of a different date?

What, pray tell, is the BIG hurry? Anyone who installs the first version of
any software has to be an idiot.

Product Availability and Pricing

Quicken Personal Finance Software 2008 will be available for purchase
or download directly from Intuit at www.quicken.com beginning August
27, 2007 and will be widely available in retail stores on September 9.
