Please log in for more thread options Intuit's finally gotten the Q08 R2 update on their site. As John said, it's
all about the encryption level. Here's the entire text from the Release
Notes:
"Quicken 2008 Release 2 notes (September 2007):
File
* In this update, Quicken data file security is improved through
2048-bit encryption. Because of the enhanced level of encryption, data files
cannot be accessed with Quicken 2008 Release 1. Intuit recommends that
Quicken users upgrade to Release 2 to ensure highest level of security
protection."
