Release 3 already, does anyone remember such a rapid series of updates?
I'm struggling with a "Scheduled Bills & Deposits" bug that doesn't allow me
to choose most accounts, and once chosen, cannot be changed.
Let's see if R3 cures this :-)

Not surprised. Quicken's own website needs to catch up as well. They still
say that QW 2007 is their latest edition.

https://quicken.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/quicken.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3874&p_created=1131741479&p_sid=YldGDxMi

"Under this policy, the most current version of Quicken (currently Quicken
2007), plus the prior two versions, will be supported, subject to certain
exceptions."

Duh.

Current users of QW 2005 have until about next April 2008 to upgrade.
Anyone want to take bets on what revision they will be up to by then?

Sorry for replying to the wrong post; I don't have Bob's
original.

Just wanted to mention that R2 had nothing to do with any bug
fixes; it was purely about increasing the degree of security
(and unlike any other release of any version of Quicken I know
of, data that has been processed by R2 can never be processed by
R1).

John:

Good point about R2.
I forgot to add that my workaround for the Scheduled Transaction bug is to

1) Enter a transaction as I want it memorized.
2) Memorize the transaction as Scheduled.
3) Delete the "dummy" transaction.
