Are you saying that your Qdata.QDF file is located in the root
folder of your hard drive? When I said "fully qualified name",
I meant the file name and path.

The complete path of the file I am backing up is:
C:Program FilesQuickenQdata.QDF

My successful backups are made to J: (which is my Iomega Zip Drive)

My unsuccessful backups are attempted made to C:
Also to my two external hard drives K: and L: (both unsuccessful and
both are external hard drives connected via USB port)
