Mike, I had this happen several times when I used features such as
calendar. It would flash(very quickly) an error message and shut
down.
The fix is to uninstall Quicken after a backup of your data, and
reinstall but not to the default location. Also, after the uninstall,
remove the existing quicken folder from your hard drive. Now,
reinstall NOT to the default directory that it defaults to, but create
one yourself, perhaps named Quicken1 or something like that.
