My brother runs a small business, a blueberry farm, and he is
considering purchasing quicken home and business but he has a question
about how the software handles payroll. During harvest season he pays
the workers by the amount of berries picked (lets say by the bushel)
but at other times he pays by the hour when they are doing other odds
and ends such as mowing the grass or pruning the bushes for example. He
never haves more than 10 employees and during the off season he may
only have 2 or 3 employees.
Would quicken home and business handle this type of situation?
Can anyone please give me a general idea of how payroll works in
quicken?
Does anyone have any concerns with using quicken in this fashion?
Are there other softwares that you would recommend above quicken?
Thanks,
Sam
