Quicken & ScotTrade

I'm exploring the prospect of downloading directly from ScotTrade into
Quicken 2005HB but am having considerable trouble finding information that
explains or demonstrates what to expect.

Quicken Help described the download process in broad terms. No problem. When
I move to ScotTrade's website and sign in, I find very little. Under the
"Watch Lists & Portfolios" section there is reference to "Download File"
asking me to "select file type" and listing Quicken as an option.. But I
have no idea what to expect. The ScotTrade branch seemed clueless other than
to tell me where I'd find reference to Quicken on their site.

I have no trades yet but I did transfer stocks there previously held buy the
company that issued the stock. I expected to see date received or something
more. All I see in Balance is the number of shares held and their value.

If someone having experience with ScotTrade and/or Fidelity would take a
moment to point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

I download 7 different accounts (Rollover IRA, Roth & SEP for both my
wife and myself and the taxable portfolio) 6 days a week at 6:30 am
Central.. There's no activity on Sunday, thus there's no need to
download on Monday mornings.

I don't believe (or, perhaps, remember ... I've been doing this for
quite some time) there's ANY setup on the Fidelity side other than I
needed to switch my wife's m/f type accounts over to be brokerage type
accounts. All of the positions were moved intact, it was just some
sort of access issue so that I could get all of her accounts and mine
on the same opening page at Fidelity.com.

The setup on the Q side is that same as for any other online investment
access and I've found Fidelity's Electronic Channel Support group to be
quite helpful, even on Q issues, on the rare occasions when I needed
any help or info on downloading.
