How can I change the sound volume? I've been told that Control
Panel>Sounds can have an entry for Quicken, but I don't see it. Can
someone tell me how to fix this? TIA

Actually all you can do with the above is turn the annoying sounds
completely off, which is what I always do.

You can also turn the volume down on your speakers, which is what I
do, and turn it back up when you have something you want to hear.
There should be a volume button on your speaker.

Sorry, but changing the speaker volume is inconvenient. And, having an
intro sound serves to notify me if someone else starts up Quicken. The
control panel appears to have per-program settings, and that's what I want.
