Quicken 2008 R 7
In a register, CTRL-F -> Quicken Search
The "Search:" field defaults to Date. Any way to change that to, say,
Payee as default so I don't have to open the drop-down every time?

Carl:

If all you want to do is a quick and dirty search for a payee, I would just
use the search box on the top right above the register.

If you put the cursor inside a blank payee field before hitting CTRL-F
the payee field comes up as the field to be searched.
