Could be. The Quicken recommendation was to uninstall and reinstall in
ANOTHER directory. Of course I hate that kind of response, but after
restoring from a backup that continued to fail, I did that. It was
faster than I expected, and worked OK.
Quicken also said this could result from not having administrator
powers, but that wasn't true.
